€8.2 Million Lotto Jackpot Ticket Sold in Offaly
A Lotto ticket worth more than €8.2 million was sold in County Offaly ahead of Saturday night’s Lotto draw.
The winning numbers were 23, 24, 25, 42, 43, 46, with the bonus number 37. The winning ticket is worth €8,221,849, making it the fourth Lotto jackpot winner of 2026.
The National Lottery confirmed on Monday that the jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Offaly, with the exact retailer expected to be revealed in the coming days.
Lotto players are also being urged to check their tickets, as three Match 5 + Bonus winners each claimed prizes of just under €90,000.
The jackpot win comes ahead of changes to the Lotto game due to be introduced later this year. For the first time in eight years, the number of balls in each draw will be be reduced from 47 to 45, improving the odds of winning the jackpot from 1 in 10.7 million to 1 in 8.1 million.
