Ferbane’s Jude J. Feehan Appointed Commissioner for Oaths

A Ferbane man has been officially appointed as a Commissioner for Oaths for County Offaly by the Chief Justice.

Jude J. Feehan, whose appointment took effect on July 23, 2026, is now authorised to administer oaths and affirmations, as well as witness the signing of affidavits and statutory declarations.

Based in Ballyclare, Mr Feehan is well known in the Ferbane area for his professional work and long-standing commitment to community volunteering. His appointment follows a formal selection process and enables him to provide these services to people across County Offaly.

Speaking following his appointment, Mr Feehan said:

“It is a huge honour to receive this appointment from the Chief Justice. I am fully committed to serving the community of County Offaly and will act with the integrity, impartiality, and diligence that this position deserves. I look forward to assisting those in need of these services with the highest standard of professional care.”
