Clara Musical Society to bring Dear Evan Hansen to Tullamore

Clara Musical Society is preparing to take to the stage in Tullamore this September with its production of the Tony Award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen.

The local musical society will present the show at Esker Arts from September 19 to 22, with performances getting underway at 7.30pm each night.

Dear Evan Hansen follows the story of a socially anxious teenager who becomes caught up in an increasingly complicated situation following the death of a fellow student.

Featuring a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the production has enjoyed major international success and won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Clara Musical Society will now bring the well-known production to an Offaly audience for four performances later this month.

Tickets are priced at €25 plus booking fee and can be booked through the Esker Arts website.
